Product Description
Colorful pictures and simple rhyming texts help children guess what's peeking through the die-cut windows in these two fun board books. The anticipation of what's hiding on the next page and th bright; engaging illustrations will keep youngsters guessing and giggling all the way to the suprise endings.

Amazon.com Review
Nina Laden's illustrations in this simple, rhyming board book are truly magical. The format is straightforward: on alternating two-page spreads, the words "Peek a" are repeated, opposite an illustrated page with a die-cut hole, behind which lurks a cow ("MOO!"), a green ghost ("BOO!"), and a mirror (you guessed it, "YOU!"). The youngest readers will delight in trying to guess who--or what--is peeking through the window, and can easily grip the baby-fist-size holes to turn the pages for the answers. The picture of the "ZOO!" is fabulous. Through the hole, all that can be seen is a wild pattern of colors, stripes, and spots. Turn the page, and find a wild kingdom of animals, one in front of the other: peacock, zebra, penguin, cheetah, elephant, and more. Ready for more peekaboo fun? Try Nina Laden's Ready, Set, Go! . 5 out of 5 stars Wonderful Book!   July 20, 2010
Justine Gaster-sult (Berkeley Springs, WV)
We love this book! Right after we took it out of the box, we read it and LOOOOOVED it! My 6 1/2 month old son smiled and giggled at each page, eager to see what was next. I can't wait to see what else this author has!

5 out of 5 stars one of the all time favorites   June 30, 2010
Pamela G. Illes (San Francisco, CA)
My son has loved this book for well over a year. He is 22 months and still loves it. I have to buy another copy since he spent his time teething with this book. I don't get too tired of reading it either. You will love it!

5 out of 5 stars Great for Young Babies   June 19, 2010

I admittedly found this book inane when we first bought it for my then one-year-old. She enjoyed looking at it a few times, and then we put it aside. I started reading it to my second child when she was 2 months old, and 9 months later, this is still the only book she will sit still for! She will bring the book to me and even mimics the sounds. I would not recommend this for children already over one, but Peek A Who? is a great introduction to books for young babies.

5 out of 5 stars One of her favorites!   May 20, 2010
Melissa Boyd (Bend, OR USA)
My daughter loved this book right away and it's still one of her favorites! (She's 13 months now - was about 7 months when we bought it.) It's a great concept - partially hidden pictures where you have to turn the page to see what's there - very few words - rhymes on every page. And the fact that there's a mirror at the back totally seals the deal - what could be better to a baby? :-)
